Proje Hakkında
We want to make cards for next Christmas. Pupils will exchange hand-made Xmas cards and wish good things for each other.
HEDEFLER
Pupils will learn how to cooperate and collaborate to the making of a project. They will develop knowledge concerning different xmas habits and traditions; they will understand the positive values of diversity, friendship, solidarity and peace in society; they will learn basic elements of geography (geographic features of partner countries, their flags, currencies, official spoken languages, etc.); they will develop arts, crafts and creativity skills; they will learn how to make and create from recycled materials; they will improve their english while writing xmas cards. Teachers will cooperate and collaborate with eTwinning partner schools and colleagues. The main aim is the growth of a sense of uniqueness of the school community.
ÇALIŞMA SÜRECİ
Dates will be given for all partners to work by the cards. Twinspace will become the area where partners will share information, communication and their addresses. We expect all partners to make cards by group work: partners are free to decide the number of pupils in each group. We will ask for all cards to be written both in english and in the partners´ official spoken language ; cards could also contain information about peculiar xmas habits or traditions. As the cards are being made, we will ask partners to take photos/videos of pupils at work and their finished cards; these will be shared on the Twinspace area. We will ask for all cards to be sent by Friday 23rd November to enable them reach their destination before the Christmas break up. When partners have received their cards, we will ask them to take photos/video of all cards displayed on a poster and share it on the Twinspace area.
BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR
It´s the first time we run an eTwinning project so we hope to have as much audience as possible. The main aim is to let an important time like Xmas being the main vehicle to widespread a sense of uniqueness for schools, students and teachers: no language barriers, no geographical borders, no different cultures or traditions are or will ever be able to separate a big community like school. We are ONE! We will put everything in the TwinSpace area so please focus on the quality of cards that we expect to be as good as possible. Over the top pupils and teachers! The whole world is watching!
